Special Education:
The Department of Special Education offers a wide range of programs leading to New York State Certification under the category of Teacher of Special Education. These programs are also available as a dual certification option paired with Childhood Education as well as all Secondary Subjects and Literacy. This certification area prepares our students to teach individuals with learning disabilities, emotional and behavior disorders, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorders.
